The Lake Monticello Golf Course, expertly designed by Buddy Loving, is open to the public and conveniently located in Fluvanna County, just east of Charlottesville. The course is known for its high-quality conditions, meticulously maintained by Indigo Golf Partners.

The new Fairway Clubhouse features a state-of-the-art golf shop and a full-service restaurant. Guests can enjoy meals or drinks on the terrace, which offers picturesque views of the 18th hole.

Recently renovated practice facilities include an expanded grass hitting area equipped with premium artificial turf that mimics the feel of real grass.

The beautifully landscaped 18-hole, par 72 golf course spans 6,930 yards and caters to golfers of all skill levels. Designed over fifty years ago to complement the natural contours of Piedmont Virginia's rolling landscape, Lake Monticello welcomes all golf enthusiasts for both day visits and year-round play.

The course features eight sets of tees and provides modern electric golf carts while allowing for walking as an option. Tees and fairways are primarily Bermuda grass with bent grass greens, ensuring a sturdy playing surface.

Notably, Bob Rotella, the 2018 Falconers Invitational Champion and renowned sports psychologist, praised Lake Monticello's layout from the Blue tees as "the best layout in Virginia," highlighting its appeal among competitive golfers.
